Bank Street's client was Farhad Asghar, the director of the Liberty Partnership Program (LPP) located in Bank Street College. LPP is an after school dropout prevention program. It provides academic support, college counseling, and fun activities for elementary school to high school students. For example, math, reading, and writing workshops are held for students struggling in those areas. There is also assistance in filling out college applications, critiquing of college essays, and SAT prep for high school juniors. Counseling is provided for students who have any family, relationship, or emotional concerns. Fun activities, such as dance, cooking, and art design, are also provided. To the group's knowledge, there has been no past project that was relevant to our project.
