Mr. Melvin Drakeford, an entrepreneur in the adaptive clothing business, produced a tennis shirt that allowed women to change in public without fear of exposure. The basic design of this sleeveless quick-change shirt consists of three strategically placed zippers: one on each shoulder and down one side of the shirt. In response to developing brand-name competition, Mr. Drakeford examined alternative markets for his quick-change shirt. He realized that his shirts could benefit people with upper-body disabilities or limited range of motion. He is now looking to expand his business into the field of adaptive clothing.
